114B

The 114B is a pressurized, single-engine aircraft produced by Commander Aircraft, an evolution of the Rockwell Commander 114A. The 114 arrived in 1976, featuring a 260 HP Lycoming IO-540 engine, often considered the plane the preceding 112 model should have been. The rights to the design were acquired by Commander Aircraft Company in 1988. This company introduced the improved 114B series in 1992, which included a new propeller, revised engine cowling, and a Lycoming IO-540-T4B5 engine. Commander Aircraft produced approximately 200 examples of the series before operations ceased in 2002.

Access solutions are indispensable for detailed maintenance across the 114B. Products such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Super Service Stand support access to critical areas. These platforms help maintain the Nose Section, including the windshield and cockpit; the Forward Fuselage, for cabin access and environmental control systems; the Landing Gear; and the Tail Section.
