108

The Stinson 108 Voyager is a popular general aviation aircraft, developed from the prewar Model 10A Voyager (also known as the Stinson 105). Manufactured between 1946 and 1950, over 5,000 units of the Model 108 Voyager, or Station Wagon, were produced. This classic aircraft features a high-wing design and could be fitted with wheel, float, or ski landing gear, making it a versatile private owner aircraft.

Manufacturing was primarily handled by the Stinson division of Consolidated Vultee Aircraft. Stinson, an aircraft company with a long history, delivered approximately 4,935 aircraft before the company was acquired by Piper Aircraft in late 1948. Piper continued production, delivering about 325 aircraft before selling the type certificate to Univair Aircraft Corporation. The 108-3 variant has a gross weight of 2,400 lbs and larger 50 US gallon fuel tanks.

Maintenance access for this aircraft requires a variety of specialized solutions. Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Ultraraise provide access to critical aircraft sections. Solutions like Super Service Stand, Easyraise, and Bridge Deck support thorough maintenance of the Nose Section, Forward Fuselage, Wing Box Area, and Tail Section (Empennage). Cantilever Platform, Super Maintenance Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog aid in inspecting the Landing Gear and Wing areas.
