1-131E

The 1-131E Jungmann is a foundational biplane trainer aircraft manufactured under license in Spain by Construcciones Aeronauticas S.A. (CASA). The design originates from the Büker Bu 131 Jungmann.

CASA, established in 1923, played a key role in Spanish aviation history. Initially, the company manufactured aircraft under license, such as Dornier flying boats. The production of the Spanish-built Jungmann aircraft began in 1941, primarily for the Spanish Air Force, with the last CASA-built model manufactured in 1963.

For maintenance around this aircraft, various access and work platforms are applied. Solutions like modular stepover platforms and various platform ladders assist in reaching the Nose Section for avionics and windshield tasks, and the Landing Gear for routine checks. Maintenance stands and scaffold systems provide access to the Wing and Engine Pylon areas (specifically for engine maintenance), as well as the middle and aft fuselage sections. These sturdy platforms enable detailed inspection and methodical maintenance across the entire airframe, including the tail section.
