Societe Aeronautique Normande

Société Aéronautique Normande (SAN) was a French aircraft manufacturing company founded on May 1, 1948, in Bernay-Saint-Martin by Lucien Querey. The business aimed to operate as an Aviation Service Station. Historically, SAN produced aircraft under license from Jodel and developed two exclusive models. Well-known historical products include the SAN Jodel D.140 Mousquetaire (a four/five-seater) and the SAN Jodel D.150 Mascaret (a two-seater), as well as the SAN-101 and SAN Jodel DR.1050 Ambassadeur/Excellence. The company went into receivership and failed in November 1968. It does not have any current products as it is defunct.
