Reims Aviation S A

Reims Aviation was a French aircraft manufacturer that originated from Avions Max Holste, founded in 1946 by Max Holste. The company was officially formed as Reims Aviation in 1962 following a cooperative agreement with Cessna to produce light aircraft for the European market.

Historical products include the MH.1521 Broussard (1950) and the MH.260 Super Broussard (1959) from the Max Holste era, and later, the FR172 Reims Rocket, a more powerful version of the Cessna 172, which was its main product after 1962.

Reims Aviation was a wholly-owned subsidiary of GECI Aviation. Information on its well-known current products is not readily available, suggesting its operations or focus changed significantly after its time producing Cessna derivatives.
