Potez Air Fouga

Potez Air Fouga was a French aircraft manufacturer formed by the merger of Établissements Henry Potez and Fouga in 1958. Potez is historically significant for producing a wide range of aircraft, including military and civilian planes like the Potez 25 and Potez 62. Fouga was renowned for its jet aircraft designs, most notably the Fouga CM.170 Magister, a successful twin-engine jet trainer used by many air forces globally. After the merger, the company continued to produce the Magister and developed other designs, though it was eventually absorbed into Sud Aviation in 1967. Potez Air Fouga itself is no longer an active organization, but its historical products, particularly the Magister, remain well-known.
