Pilatus Britten - Norman

Pilatus Britten-Norman was the name used after Pilatus Aircraft acquired Britten-Norman in 1998. Britten-Norman is a British aircraft manufacturer known for producing highly versatile and rugged utility aircraft. Their most well-known product is the BN-2 Islander, a twin-engine light utility aircraft that is still in production and widely used for commuter flights, cargo, and special missions globally. A variant of this current product is the BN-2B Defender, a military version. Historically, they also produced the BN-2A-III Trislander, a three-engine stretched version of the Islander, and had earlier developments like the Turbine Islander (BN-2T). The company was eventually sold by Pilatus and continues today as Britten-Norman.
