Percival Aircraft

Percival Aircraft Company was a British aerospace manufacturer, founded in 1933 by Edgar Percival, and was later acquired by the Hunting Group. It ultimately merged to form part of the British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) in 1960. The company is defunct and therefore has no current products.

Historically, Percival was renowned for successful light general aviation and training aircraft. Well-known historical products include the Percival Gull (1932), the record-setting Mew Gull (1935), the Percival Proctor (a military training version of the Gull used during WWII), the P.40 Prentice, the Percival Provost T Mk 1 trainer (1950), and the Percival Prince transport aircraft (1951).
