Mikoyan Gurevich

Mikoyan-Gurevich (MiG) was a Soviet/Russian aircraft design bureau, famous primarily for its fighter aircraft. Historically, they are known for iconic jets like the MiG-15, which gained notoriety as an arch-rival to the U.S. F-86 during the Korean War, and the highly successful MiG-21. Other famous historical aircraft include the MiG-17, MiG-19, and the MiG-29, which remains in service globally. After a 2006 merger, the organization is now part of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). They currently produce modern variants and upgrades of established models such as the MiG-35 fighter.
