Mahindra Aerospace

Mahindra Aerospace is the aviation division of the Indian multinational conglomerate Mahindra Group, focusing on utility aircraft and aerostructure manufacturing. They offer a range of products and services primarily in the aerostructures and components sector, acting as a “one-stop solution” for sheet metal fabrication, machining, surface treatment, and assembly for global aerospace majors.

Historically, the company (through its acquisitions) has been involved in developing and producing light utility aircraft, such as the ten-seat Airvan 10 and the eight-seat Airvan 8 (previously manufactured by Gippsland Aeronautics, now part of Mahindra). These utility aircraft are well-known for their ruggedness and suitability for various operations including passenger transport, freight, and surveillance.
