Klemm Flugzeuge

Klemm Leichtflugzeugbau GmbH was a German aircraft manufacturer founded in Böblingen in 1926 by Dr. Hanns Klemm. The company was renowned for pioneering light, aerodynamically efficient, and easy-to-manufacture aircraft, often built with wood. Klemm ceased to exist in 1959 when it merged into Bölkow.

Klemm has no well-known current products as the company is defunct.

Historically, Klemm is most famous for the Klemm L 25 (or Klemm 25), a highly successful and widespread German sports aircraft, with about 600 units built between 1927 and 1939. Other early designs include the Daimler L. 15. The company’s legacy is defined by popularizing light sports and touring planes in the interwar period.
