Jetstream Aircraft

Jetstream Aircraft was a British aircraft manufacturer, primarily known for the Jetstream series of regional turboprop airliners. Historically, the company started as Handley Page Aircraft Company’s derivative of their HP.137 Jetstream, a small turboprop feederliner. After several corporate restructures and acquisitions, the aircraft line eventually became associated with British Aerospace (BAe).

The most well-known product is the BAe Jetstream 31 and its later variant, the Jetstream 32, which were popular regional airliners in the 1980s and 1990s. The original Handley Page Jetstream (HP.137) is the primary historical product. The company’s name and assets were eventually absorbed into larger entities, and it does not have well-known current products under the specific “Jetstream Aircraft” brand.
