Interstate Aircraft And Engineering

Interstate Aircraft and Engineering Corporation was a small American aircraft manufacturer based in El Segundo, California, in production from April 1937 to 1945. They are known for manufacturing aircraft such as the Interstate Cadet. During World War II, they assembled approximately two hundred Interstate TDR drones (an unmanned aerial vehicle) at a new airport in DeKalb, which were shipped to the South Pacific for use against the enemy. They do not appear to have any well-known current products as the company ceased aircraft production in 1945.
