Hawker De Havilland

Hawker De Havilland was an Australian aerospace company, formed from the merger of Hawker Pacific and de Havilland Australia. It played a significant role in Australian aviation history, primarily focused on aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), and component manufacturing for military and commercial aircraft. It no longer exists as a standalone entity, having been acquired by Boeing in 2000 and renamed Boeing Australia. Historical products include license-building aircraft such as the de Havilland Vampire jet fighter, the CAC Sabre (F-86), and components for Boeing’s commercial airliners. As it is now part of Boeing, it does not have independent current “well-known products.”
