Hawker Aircraft

Hawker Aircraft was a British aircraft manufacturer, known primarily for its military designs. The company continued to produce designs under the “Hawker” name as part of Hawker Siddeley Aircraft until the brand name was officially dropped in 1963. While the original Hawker company is historical, the “Hawker” name is currently associated with business jets under Textron Aviation (Hawker Beechcraft).

Historically significant Hawker aircraft include the Hawker Hart (a biplane bomber/utility aircraft) and the Hawker Hurricane (a key fighter aircraft in the Battle of Britain during WWII), and the Sea Fury. Current products under the Hawker brand focus on business jets, such as the Hawker 800 series. The current company structure also produces aircraft for special missions and defense.
