Gyrodyne of America, Inc. is known for its development of unique rotorcraft. Historically, they are most famous for the QH-50 DASH (Drone Anti-Submarine Helicopter), a remotely piloted helicopter used by the US Navy in the 1960s and 70s. The QH-50 was utilized for anti-submarine warfare, making it their most well-known product. As of today, Gyrodyne has been largely inactive in helicopter production and is primarily an intellectual property holding company focusing on real estate and technological licensing, so they do not have widely recognized current aircraft products.
