Fokker

Fokker (N.V. Koninklijke Nederlandse Vliegtuigenfabriek Fokker) was a Dutch aircraft manufacturer founded by Anthony Fokker in 1912, operating until 1996. It became famous during World War I for its fighter aircraft. In the 1920s and 1930s, it dominated the civil aviation market.

Historical products include the World War I fighter aircraft, the successful Fokker F. VII trimotor passenger aircraft, and the Fokker 27. The company went bankrupt in 1996. While the original aircraft manufacturer is defunct, parts of the company continue today, such as Fokker Services, which supports aircraft like the Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 (which are considered its final well-known commercial products), as well as aircraft from other manufacturers.
