Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) is a Chinese state-owned aerospace manufacturer established in 2008 to design and produce large passenger aircraft. Its mission is to deliver safe, cost-effective, comfortable, and environmentally friendly commercial aircraft and establish China as a leader in aviation.

Well-known current products include the COMAC C919, a narrow-body jet airliner designed to compete with the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737, and the COMAC ARJ21 Xiangfeng, a regional jet. While COMAC is a relatively new entity, it represents China’s long-term strategic ambition to develop its own commercial aviation industry.
