Colonial Aircraft

Colonial Aircraft Corporation was an American company known for manufacturing amphibian aircraft. Their main product was the Colonial Skimmer, a light, single-engine, four-seat amphibian aircraft. This design was later developed into the Lake Amphibian series after the company was sold and reorganized multiple times, eventually becoming Lake Aircraft. Therefore, the Skimmer is their most well-known product and historical product, and the successor models (Lake Amphibian, Lake Renegade, etc.) represent the continuation of its design lineage. The company is no longer operating under the Colonial Aircraft name.
