Champion Aircraft

Champion Aircraft Corporation was a manufacturer known for light, single-engine aircraft like the Aeronca Champ designs it acquired. The legacy of the original Champion models, such as the Citabria, Scout, and Decathlon, forms the core historical products of this lineage.

The current successor organization, American Champion Aircraft Corporation (founded in 1988), continues this legacy by manufacturing FAA-certified light acrobatic and utility aircraft. Well-known current products include modernized versions of the Decathlon Series and the Scout Series, alongside providing replacement parts for the older aircraft designs.
