Ayres

Ayres Corporation, now succeeded by Thrush Aircraft, was an American manufacturer primarily known for its agricultural aircraft. Their most well-known product is the Ayres Thrush (originally the Snow S-2), an aerial application aircraft introduced in 1956. The company produced various variants of the Thrush, which was initially powered by radial piston engines but later predominantly used turboprop power (like the Thrush 510G and other S-2R variants). The company also worked on specialized variants, such as the V-1-A Vigilante ground-attack version, which did not enter operational service.
