Aeronca

Aeronca, formerly known as Aeronautical Corporation of America, was a prominent American aircraft manufacturer established in 1928. It specialized in producing light, affordable general aviation aircraft. The company ceased production in the 1950s but still exists as a supplier of aerospace components.

Current products: Aeronca is now primarily an aerospace parts supplier, focusing on components, assemblies, and maintenance services rather than whole aircraft.

Historical products: Aeronca is famous for making flying accessible to the public. Well-known historical products include the Aeronca C-2 (one of the first successful light planes), the Aeronca Chief, the Aeronca Champion (a major post-WWII trainer and personal aircraft), and the Defender (a military trainer version of the Champion).
