Aero Commander

Aero Commander was an American aircraft manufacturer, best known for its successful line of light and medium twin-engine aircraft. The company was founded in 1944 and changed ownership multiple times throughout its history. Its most well-known product is the Aero Commander 500 series, a twin-engine general aviation aircraft. Historical products include the L-26 military version and the high-performance turboprop Commander 680 and 690 series. The brand is largely inactive today, with production ending under various successor companies.
