In addition, due to the irregular shapes of the equipment involved, a cantilevered platform is often required to reach over obstructions and right into the service areas.
For example, when accessing an aircraft for maintenance, users may need to reach over the fuselage or wings to reach certain hatches, antennas, and other areas. Height Adjustability and Stability
The Reach Deck Platform is height adjustable through a range of heights via either a manual winch or hydraulic adjustment (both options are available). This adjustment is simple, and a fail-safe locking mechanism ensures that the platform is extremely solid and stable regardless of which height it’s set at.
Enhanced Access with Non-Slip Treads
Wide, safe stair treads provide access to the top platform. These are ridged, non-slip materials and provide perfect access for men, materials, and tools to the top platform. Cantilevered Reach Deck Platform Design
The top platform itself is cantilevered to reach out right over any potential obstacle to the work area. It’s constructed from raised and swaged perforated plates for superior traction in all conditions. Additionally, an oil drip & drain tray can be added underneath the platform. This ensures that grease, oil, and any other moisture can drain away from the work surface.
