One of the biggest airshows in the world, Farnborough International, will take place from the 16th to the 22nd of July 2018, in Farnborough, Northeast Hampshire UK.
All major aircraft manufacturers exhibit at the event, to prospects in the civil and military sectors, as well as those in rescue and other operators.
London-based aircraft maintenance platform manufacturers, Safesmart Aviation, will be attending. SafeSmart Aviation are fast-becoming a global leader in the design and production of portable access equipment for fixed wing and rotary aircraft, for use during maintenance, refurbishment, servicing and other MRO activities. SafeSmart Aviation also custom design and manufacture storage products for helping to keep the ramp and hangar tidy.
At Farnborough, there is an opportunity to engage with aviation operators from all corners of the world and specialities. These prospects are either considering the acquisition of new-model aircraft or are operating an existing fleet, and are looking for ways to increase safety and efficiency in the aircraft work area.

SafeSmart’s Stefan Gould is looking forward to the event.
“Farnborough is opportunity not to be missed for us,” says Stefan. “And we’re a little bit unique amongst the other safety product suppliers in aviation. Whilst many access equipment suppliers focus on steel and more permanent structures, we bring flexibility and more often than not hand-portability via the use of high-tensile aluminium construction and designs that are tailored to the unique contours of each aircraft.”
Throughout the world, Safesmart Aviation have built a track record for enabling operators to gain access to points to aircraft that were unthinkable before. Stefan is confident that previous case studies will tell the SafeSmart story at Farnborough.
“We’ve overcome some pretty big challenges for our clients,” says Stefan. “And we’ve had to consider very sensitive things about certain aircraft – no-step zones, uneven walking surfaces, electrically-live environments, you name it, and our design team have solved the problem every time.”
SafeSmart’s clients have been some pretty big names in aviation, too.
Stefan says that, “We are now a trusted partner in MRO safety for many clients, including repeat orders from operators such as United Airlines, the Australian Army, JetBlue, the US Marines, STARS rescue, Air Mauritius and numerous others. And we can’t wait to tell our story at Farnborough.”
