The VL-3EH-915 is a high-performance variant of the VL-3 Evolution, known as one of the fastest side-by-side ultralight aircraft globally. This two-seat civil utility airplane features a retractable gear and is powered by the Rotax 915 iS engine, delivering 160 hp for exceptional performance, including a max cruise speed of 370 km/h. It requires a short take-off and landing distance of 175 meters and achieves a climb rate of up to 2600 ft/min.
The history of JMB Aircraft S R O traces back to the VL-3 design by Vanessa Air in 2004, which was initially produced by the Czech company Aveko. In 2012, JMB Aviation, a Belgium company with extensive aviation experience, acquired Aveko. JMB Aircraft S R O began producing the fuselage and wings in 2015, becoming the current manufacturer of the VL-3 line. The company’s operations include maintenance and repair facilities in Amougies, Belgium.
A range of platforms and access solutions support maintenance around this aircraft. Modular access stands, like the Reach Deck Platform and Super Maintenance Platform, are ideal for tasks across the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Avionics), the Forward Fuselage (Cabin Access, Cargo/Baggage), and the AFT Fuselage. The Branach Fibreglass Platform and Platform Ladder Warthog provide access for the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG). For the Wing & Engine Pylon area, items such as the Bridge Deck and Cantilever Platform support detailed work on the Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), Pylon, and Hydraulics.
