The TU206A is a turbocharged utility aircraft, part of Cessna’s foundational Stationair family of single-engine aircraft. Cessna, the manufacturer, began its history in 1927 in Wichita, Kansas, established by Clyde Vernon Cessna. The company became renowned for producing a wide range of light, reliable aircraft, with the 172 Skyhawk becoming one of the best-selling aircraft models in history. The Stationair series, which includes the TU206A, is recognized as a powerful six-seat single-engine workhorse, favored for cargo, utility, and bush flying.
A comprehensive range of platforms and access solutions supports detailed maintenance for the TU206A. These solutions, including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Ultraraise, facilitate servicing across all critical areas.
For the Nose Section, access solutions are vital for inspecting the radome, antenna, nose avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead. In the Forward Fuselage, platforms enable access for work on the Main Entry Door (MED), cargo, lighting systems, cabin access, Environmental Control System (ECS), and forward wheel well access. Maintenance of the Landing Gear (NLG + MLG) is supported by these products, as are tasks in the Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area, encompassing the wing box, fuel tanks, oil maintenance, cabin interior, Wi-Fi, and emergency exit.
Access is also provided for the Wing & Engine Pylon section, which includes inspection of the pylon, anti-ice systems, engine components (inlet/exhaust, engine body, flap, fan, compressor, turbine), FADEC/EEC, hydraulics, fuel tanks/pumps, undercowl, and armpit. The AFT Fuselage, covering the aft bulkhead, cargo, cabin doors, auxiliary fuel, environmental ducting, rear avionics, and rear inboard/outboard sections, relies on these height access solutions. Finally, the Tail Section (Empennage), including the vertical stabilizer, horizontal stabilizer, and rudder, is fully supported for methodical inspection and servicing.
