TB-20

The TB-20 Trinidad is a high-performance, single-engine aircraft known for its retractable landing gear and spacious cabin. Manufactured by Socata, the TB-20 was offered with a 250 horsepower normally aspirated engine and a constant speed propeller. Although dating back to around 1980, the TB range was considered modern compared to other general aviation standards.

Socata’s manufacturing history traces back to Morane-Saulnier, founded in 1911. After Morane-Saulnier went into receivership in 1962, it was reborn in 1966 as Socata, a division of Groupe Sud-Aviation. By 1970, Socata became the light plane division of the newly created Groupe Aérospatiale.

Access solutions are indispensable for thorough maintenance of the TB-20. Platforms and stands, including Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, and Bridge Deck, support detailed servicing across all critical aircraft sections. This includes the Nose Section (radome, antenna, avionics, cockpit), the Forward Fuselage (entry door, cargo, cabin access), Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area (fuel tanks, oil maintenance), Wing & Engine Pylon (engine access, fuel system components), AFT Fuselage (bulkhead, cargo, rear avionics), and the Tail Section (stabilisers, rudder).
