The T-1A Jayhawk is a twin-engined jet aircraft developed by Raytheon, serving as an advanced trainer for airlift and tanker pilots for the United States Air Force. The aircraft is a military adaptation of the commercial Beechjet 400A. Raytheon delivered 180 T-1 trainers between 1992 and 1997. Raytheon’s foundational history includes becoming a major Allied supplier of magnetrons during WWII.
The T-1A requires thorough maintenance access across its structure. For the Nose Section, solutions such as the Reach Deck Platform, Ultraraise, and A Frame Aviation Platform enable service of the radome, nose avionics, and cockpit. For the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage), the Super Maintenance Platform and Super Trestle Scaffold are paramount for servicing rear avionics, APU components, and stabilizers. These platforms and stands address General Access across the airframe. The Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley supports secure staging during maintenance.
