S70B-2

The S70B-2 Seahawk is an Anti-submarine/Anti-surface/Search and Rescue helicopter. It was developed from the Sikorsky S-70 family, which began development in 1972 to replace the U.S. Army’s UH-1 Iroquois utility helicopters. The S-70B-2 variant was manufactured by Sikorsky, entering service in 1988. Sikorsky is a foundational American aerospace manufacturer, with history rooted in the pioneering work of Igor Sikorsky, who created the first successful production helicopter in 1942. Sikorsky became a major producer of military and commercial aircraft, specializing in rotorcraft.

Access solutions are indispensable for methodical maintenance of the S70B-2. Platforms and stands support detailed access to the Nose Section (including the Windshield and Cockpit), the Forward Fuselage (for Cabin Access and Environmental Control System), and the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG). Further solutions, such as Cantilever Platforms and Modular Stepover Platforms, facilitate access across the Middle Fuselage, the Wing & Engine Pylon (for engine maintenance), and the Tail Section (Empennage), ensuring comprehensive support for all critical areas.
