S2R-G1

The Ayres S2R-G1 is part of the extensive Thrush line of agricultural aircraft, known for its capacity and performance in aerial application duties. Manufactured by Ayres Corporation, the company’s history is rooted in the progression of agricultural aviation design, succeeding earlier entities to become a significant producer of purpose-built aircraft for crop dusting and spraying. The S2R-G1, specifically, is recognized for its turbine engine and sturdy design, tailored for challenging field operations.

A range of height access solutions are utilized for maintenance and inspection across this aircraft. These solutions include Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog.

These platforms address various maintenance needs:
For the Nose Section, access is provided for the radome, antenna, nose avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead.
Access solutions are relevant for the Forward Fuselage, covering the Main Entry Door (MED), cargo, baggage, lighting systems, cabin access, Environmental Control System (ECS), and forward wheel well access.
The Landing Gear (NLG + MLG) areas are addressed for maintenance on both the nose and main landing gear.
In the Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area, access is available for the wing box, fuel tanks (center and wing), oil maintenance, cabin interior, Wi-Fi systems, and emergency exit.
For the Wing & Engine Pylon, maintenance platforms allow access to the pylon, anti-ice systems, engine (inlet/exhaust, body, flap), fan, compressor, turbine, FADEC/EEC, hydraulics, fuel tanks/pumps, undercowl, and armpit.
Access for the AFT Fuselage is provided for the AFT bulkhead, cargo, cabin doors, auxiliary fuel, environmental ducting, rear avionics, APU compartments, and rear inboard/outboard sections.
Finally, platforms enable access across the Tail Section (Empennage), targeting the APU intake, generator, compressor, exhaust port, vertical stabiliser, horizontal stabiliser, and rudder. General access is also supported.
