S-2C

The Pitts S-2C is a two-seat aerobatic biplane, a descendant of the foundational Pitts Special line first flown in 1946 by Curtis Pitts. The design quickly gained fame, dominating aerobatic competitions globally. AVIAT Aircraft, the current manufacturer, continues the legacy of producing this high-performance aircraft. The S-2C features tandem seating, aluminum tube fuselage construction with fabric covering, and is powered by a Lycoming O-320 piston engine of 185 horsepower.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized around this aircraft. These solutions—including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog—address maintenance needs across various aircraft sections.

These products are fundamental for accessing:

Nose Section: Windshield & Cockpit access is improved with these solutions.

Landing Gear (NLG + MLG): Both Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear maintenance benefit from stable access.

Wing & Engine Pylon: These platforms provide necessary height and stability for working on the Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), Engine Body, and Undercowl.

General Access: They provide comprehensive access across the fuselage.
