S-1S/A1

The S-1S/A1 is a single-seat aerobatic biplane that belongs to the foundational Pitts Special series, renowned worldwide for its high performance and agility. The Pitts Special originated in 1945 with the initial S-1 design by Curtis Pitts. The S-1S variant, which introduced four ailerons and symmetrical airfoils for improved maneuverability, entered factory production in 1972 under PITTS Aviation Enterprises, cementing its status as a benchmark competition aircraft.
