RC-3

The RC-3 Seabee is a unique all-metal amphibious sports aircraft designed by Percival Spencer and manufactured by the Republic Aviation Corporation. Its first flight was on December 1, 1945, with production commencing shortly after in 1946. Republic Aviation, a major American aerospace company known historically for its military aircraft such as the P-47 Thunderbolt, produced 1,060 units of the RC-3 Seabee between 1946 and 1947 before production ceased. The aircraft is noted for its distinctive pusher propeller and ability to operate from land or water.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for detailed maintenance and inspection of the RC-3. These solutions, including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog, support access across all critical aircraft sections. This comprehensive access is crucial for tasks relating to the Nose Section, Forward Fuselage, Landing Gear, Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area, Wing & Engine Pylon, AFT Fuselage, and Tail Section (Empennage), ensuring thorough operational efficiency.
