PZL-104 WILGA 35A

The PZL-104 Wilga 35A is a mass-produced variant of the foundational Polish short-takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft, highly valued in sports aviation, particularly for glider towing. It was manufactured by PZL WARSZAWA – OKECIE, a key aviation producer in Poland.

The PZL-104 Wilga first flew on April 24, 1962, entering service the following year. Production continued through various improving versions until 2006, with over 1,000 units built. The Wilga 35A variant began production in 1968 and is powered by an Ivtsenko AI-14RA 9-cylinder radial engine.

Access solutions are available to support methodical maintenance across this aircraft. For the Nose Section, including the Windshield & Cockpit and Bulkhead, platforms and maintenance stands can provide necessary height access. Similarly, the Forward Fuselage—covering Cabin Access and doors—and the Landing Gear require stable working platforms. Maintenance platforms are essential for the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, supporting tasks like fuel, oil, and cabin interior work. Specialized access equipment facilitates detailed maintenance around the Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), Engine Body, and associated components in the Wing section. For the Tail Section (Empennage), including the Vertical Stabiliser and Horizontal Stabiliser, taller platforms are indispensable for safe, elevated work.
