PA-28R-201

The PA-28R-201, known as the Piper Arrow III, is a four-place, single-engine aircraft featuring retractable landing gear. This model is a popular choice for complex training and personal transport. The Arrow III, certified in 1976, was notable for adopting a semi-tapered wing, an improvement that increased fuel capacity and glide performance over previous “Hershey Bar” wing designs in the Arrow line. It is commonly powered by a Lycoming IO-360-C1C6 engine.

The manufacturer, Piper Aircraft, has a foundational history in general aviation, beginning in 1937 when William T. Piper established the Piper Aircraft Corporation, introducing the iconic Piper Cub. Throughout the mid-20th century, Piper became a cornerstone of light aircraft production, establishing a vast dealer network and developing celebrated aircraft like the PA-23 Apache and PA-28 Cherokee series, from which the Arrow is derived. Piper continues its legacy as an indispensable manufacturer of training and utility aircraft today.

A range of platforms and access solutions, including Reach Deck Platforms, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Super Service Stands, can be utilized for detailed, methodical maintenance on this aircraft. These solutions provide the necessary access for comprehensive checks across all aircraft sections, from the Nose Avionics and Windshield to the Landing Gear and Tail Section (Empennage), ensuring the Arrow remains operational.
