PA-28-180

The PA-28-180, part of the legendary Cherokee series, is a light aircraft manufactured by PIPER Aircraft. Introduced in 1962, the PA-28-180 quickly became a foundational choice for flight training and personal transportation due to its reliability and ease of use. The PA-28 line received its type certificate in 1960 and remains in production today, making it one of the most produced aircraft in history.

PIPER Aircraft, known for its enduring contributions to general aviation, developed the Cherokee with a low-wing configuration, fixed landing gear, and a metal airframe. The company’s long history is characterized by designing accessible and sturdy private aircraft. The widespread success and continued use of the PA-28 series underscore the initial design’s quality and its adaptability across decades of service.

The aircraft is designed to permit thorough maintenance, including full access to the Nose Section components like avionics and the Windshield, and the Landing Gear assemblies. The wing design and engine area, including the Pylon and anti-ice systems, require consistent upkeep, for which customized platforms and stands are necessary. These solutions facilitate detailed inspection and maintenance across the entire structure, from the Forward Fuselage to the Tail Section.
