PA-28-150

The PA-28-150 is a foundational model of the Piper Cherokee family, first introduced in 1960. It is a four-place, fixed landing gear landplane, powered by a 150-horsepower Lycoming engine. Designed for simplicity and cost-effectiveness, the PA-28 series quickly became paramount for flight schools and private owners worldwide, establishing itself as the fourth most produced aircraft in history, remaining in production today.

PIPER Aircraft was established in 1937 by William T. Piper, stemming from the earlier Taylor Aircraft Company (founded 1927). The company became known for iconic light aircraft like the Piper Cub. After relocating to Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, Piper Aircraft Corporation was formally named in 1937. Throughout its history, the manufacturer has introduced many successful models, including the PA-23 Apache (1954) and the PA-46 Malibu (1983).
