PA-28-140

The PA-28-140, commonly known as the Cherokee, is a foundational light aircraft manufactured by PIPER Aircraft. Introduced in 1964, the PA-28-140 began as a two-place landplane powered by a 150 hp Lycoming O-320 engine. It later received approval for a four-place configuration, making it a highly successful trainer and personal transport aircraft. PIPER Aircraft, a leading manufacturer in general aviation, began the enduring PA-28 Cherokee series in 1961, establishing a lineage of aircraft models that continues to be produced today. The PA-28 series is recognized for its low wing design and fixed landing gear, with over 32,700 units built across all variants.

Access solutions aid in detailed and methodical maintenance across the airframe. The Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, and Branach Fibreglass Platform are used for the Forward Fuselage, specifically for the Main Entry Door (MED), cargo, and cabin access points.

For the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) and the Wing & Engine Pylon (including inlet, exhaust, and engine body checks), the Super Service Stand, Easyraise, and Ultraraise offer essential elevation. The Bridge Deck and Cantilever Platform provide specialized access for the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, allowing for maintenance of fuel tanks and emergency exits. Finally, the Platform Ladder Warthog and A Frame Aviation Platform support work on the Tail Section, crucial for the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizers.
