PA-22-150

The PA-22-150 Tri-Pacer is a significant light aircraft produced by PIPER Aircraft. Its lineage began in November 1947 with the two-seat PA-15 Vagabond, which featured side-by-side seating and a taildragger configuration. This design evolved into the PA-20 Pacer. In 1952, the PA-22-150, powered by a 150 horsepower Lycoming O-320-A2A/A2B engine, was introduced. The PA-22 series introduced a tricycle landing gear to the Pacer airframe, making it easier for pilots transitioning from earlier trainers.

PIPER Aircraft, one of the “Big Three” manufacturers of general aviation aircraft, has a long and foundational history in the industry. The company, through its various designs like the Cub and the Tri-Pacer series, helped define post-war private and training aviation.

A variety of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance and inspection of the PA-22-150. These include the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Super Service Stand. These products support detailed access for all critical aircraft sections, including the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit), Forward Fuselage (Cabin Access), Landing Gear (Main Landing Gear), and Tail Section (Horizontal Stabiliser and Rudder). Access products are indispensable for maintaining this classic aircraft.
