P2010 TDI

The P2010 TDI is a key variant of the four-seat P2010 aircraft, distinguished by its diesel engine capability, allowing it to use Jet-A fuel. Developed from the two-seat P2008, the P2010 series features a hybrid construction of a carbon-fiber fuselage and all-metal wings, providing modern ergonomics and sturdy performance. The cockpit includes the Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite. Depending on the engine configuration, its maximum cruising speed ranges between 136 and 148 knots.

The manufacturer, Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam S.p.A., is an Italian company with a strong legacy in general aviation. Tecnam unveiled the P2010 in 2011, with the maiden flight occurring in 2012. It achieved EASA type certification in 2014 and FAA validation in 2015, marking its successful entry into the market.

For routine access and thorough maintenance needs, platforms and access solutions are utilized across the aircraft. These stands address critical maintenance points, supporting detailed work around the nose section for avionics and cockpit access, forward fuselage elements like doors and lighting systems, and landing gear bays (both nose and main). Access solutions also facilitate tasks in the middle fuselage and wing box area, particularly for fuel tank and oil maintenance. Furthermore, these products are fundamental for engine and wing pylon work—covering components such as the inlet, exhaust, and hydraulic systems—as well as comprehensive access to the aft fuselage and the tail section’s stabilizers and rudder.
