The Mikoyan MiG-29K (NATO reporting name: Fulcrum-D) is a Russian all-weather carrier-based multirole fighter developed by the Mikoyan Design Bureau. Developed in the late 1980s from the MiG-29M, Mikoyan classifies it as a 4+ generation aircraft. The MiG-29KUB is the two-seat fighter variant, intended for pilot training, which retains the combat capability of the single-seat model. The Mikoyan Design Bureau, associated with the manufacturer Mig/Migavia, has a long and foundational history in Soviet and Russian aviation, consistently producing high-performance fighter aircraft. Serial production of the modern MiG-29K/KUB began in 2005, with major users including the Indian Navy and Russian Navy.
