M-18B

The M-18B Dromader is a single-engine agricultural aircraft used primarily for crop dusting and firefighting operations, capable of carrying water or chemicals in a large frontal hopper. It is a variant of the foundational PZL-Mielec M-18 Dromader design, which first flew on August 27, 1976. This model is currently active and still in production, with over 759 units built and sold to 24 countries worldwide.

PZL WARSZAWA – OKECIE, the manufacturer, was founded in 1928 following a decree by Prime Minister Józef Piłsudski. Historically, the factory floor has seen nearly every aircraft ever manufactured in Poland, establishing the company as an indispensable component of Polish aviation history.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintaining the M-18B. These platforms, including Modular Stepover Platforms and Super Maintenance Platform, are essential for accessing the Wing & Engine Pylon section (for maintenance on the engine, fuel tanks, and hydraulics) and the middle fuselage/wing box area (for fuel tanks and oil maintenance). Other areas, such as the Landing Gear and General Access (AF-BF) also benefit from these specialized solutions.
