The Jetstream Series 3200 is a turboprop airliner, an enhanced development of the original Handley Page Jetstream design. Following Handley Page’s bankruptcy, the design rights were acquired by British Aerospace, which later became part of the entity listed as Systems in this context. The Series 3200 expanded on the earlier Jetstream 31, entering service in the late 1980s. It became a popular 19-seat regional transport aircraft, valued for its reliability and efficiency. Production continued into the mid-1990s, with many units still active globally.
A variety of access solutions are employed to service the Series 3200 across its critical sections. Platforms and stands support detailed maintenance of the Nose Section, crucial for the radome, antenna, and nose avionics. Access solutions like deck platforms are key for working on the Forward Fuselage, specifically for cargo, doors, and the environmental control system.
For the Landing Gear, specialized platforms allow for thorough checks of the main and nose landing gear components. Maintenance on the Wing & Engine Pylon requires platforms designed to reach the engine inlet/exhaust, fan, and turbine areas. Furthermore, maintenance stands provide necessary access to the AFT Fuselage for inspecting rear avionics and APU compartments, ensuring detailed upkeep of the aircraft’s entire structure, including the Tail Section empennage components like the vertical and horizontal stabilizers.
