HH-60 Pave Hawk

The HH-60 Pave Hawk, derived from the U.S. Army’s foundational UH-60 Black Hawk, is a key combat search and rescue (CSAR) helicopter. This versatile aircraft conducts day and night personnel recovery missions in hostile environments, alongside medical evacuations and disaster relief. The Pave Hawk is equipped with extensive avionics, an in-flight refueling probe, and defensive systems, enabling long-range, low-level penetration.

Sikorsky, the manufacturer, was founded by Igor Sikorsky in 1923 and has a foundational history in aviation. The company developed the first practical American helicopter, the VS-300, and has since become a leading producer of military and commercial rotorcraft globally. Sikorsky introduced the Black Hawk series, which includes the Pave Hawk variant, ensuring a legacy of sturdy, hard-wearing military aviation platforms.

Maintaining the Pave Hawk requires specialized access. Platforms and stands are indispensable for detailed maintenance across all key sections. For the Nose Section, including the windshield, cockpit, and avionics, access solutions like the Cantilever Platform or Platform Ladder Warthog provide the necessary reach. For the engine and wing pylon area, specialized stands and platforms facilitate thorough inspection of the engine body, fan, and exhaust. In the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section, systems like the Modular Stepover Platforms and Bridge Deck ensure safe access to the APU compartments, vertical, and horizontal stabilizers. These products are crucial for efficient servicing of the aircraft.
