FU-24/A4

The FU-24/A4 is a variant of the New Zealand-made Fletcher FU-24 agricultural aircraft, originally designed for aerial topdressing and later adapted for utility and skydiving roles. The design was one of the first specifically created for New Zealand’s aerial topdressing industry. Airparts NZ is associated with the manufacturing and support of this aircraft.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance around this aircraft. These solutions facilitate access to critical areas for thorough servicing. These include the Nose Section for the radome, antenna, and avionics; the Forward Fuselage for main entry and cargo doors; and the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG).

Access solutions are also critical for the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, supporting maintenance of the wing box and fuel tanks. Maintenance on the Wing and Engine Pylon, including the engine itself, anti-ice systems, and hydraulics, requires varied height access equipment. Finally, specialized stands and platforms assist in servicing the Aft Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage), covering components like the vertical and horizontal stabilizers, and the rudder.
