F-15E Strike Eagle

The F-15E Strike Eagle is a twin-engine, multirole strike fighter originating from the United States. Designed for deep interdiction missions without reliance on escort or electronic warfare support, it evolved from the foundational F-15 Eagle air superiority fighter. The F-15E made its first flight in 1986 and achieved initial operational capability with the U.S. Air Force in 1989. It remains a paramount asset in global air forces.

McDonnell Douglas, the aircraft’s original manufacturer, was an aerospace and defense giant. The company formed in 1967 from the merger of McDonnell Aircraft Corporation (founded 1939) and Douglas Aircraft Company (established 1921). McDonnell Douglas was a leading producer of fighters and commercial aircraft. Production of the F-15E began under McDonnell Douglas in 1985 and continued after the company merged with Boeing in 1997. The aircraft has seen continuous use and development, including enhanced variants like the F-15 Advanced Eagle.

Platforms and access solutions are indispensable for maintaining this complex aircraft. Equipment like modular stepover platforms, cantilever platforms, and maintenance stands provide first-class access to critical areas. These tools enable thorough servicing of sections, including the nose avionics, landing gear components, and the numerous elements within the wing and engine pylon area, such as the fan, compressor, and turbine. They also support detailed work on the AFT fuselage and the empennage, ensuring all systems are optimal.
