EA 300/LT

The EA 300/LT is an aerobatic monoplane derived from the successful Extra 300 series. EXTRA Aircraft, founded by German aerobatic pilot Walter Extra, began designing the original Extra 300 in 1987, with the first flight occurring in May 1988. The company is a foundational manufacturer in high-performance aircraft, known for designs capable of Unlimited category competition. The EA 300/LT is a two-seat aircraft, typically featuring a low-mounted wing and a shorter fuselage, similar to the high-production Extra 300L model. The structure features a welded steel tube fuselage covered in aluminum and fabric, while the mid-set wing uses a carbon fiber composite spar and skins.

Maintaining this specialized aircraft requires precise height access. A range of platforms and access solutions support detailed servicing. Solutions such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Platform Ladder Warthog provide access for general work and specific needs across the aircraft.

For the Nose Section, these platforms facilitate work on the radome, antenna, nose avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead. Access solutions also support the Forward Fuselage for the Main Entry Door (MED) and cabin access. The stands are used for the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) and the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box area for inspecting the wing box, fuel tanks, and oil maintenance. Comprehensive access also extends to the Tail Section (Empennage) for the vertical stabilizer, horizontal stabilizer, and rudder.
