The E-170 is part of the E-Jet family of commercial aircraft, developed and manufactured by Embraer. This twin-engine regional jet established a new benchmark for short- to medium-haul commercial aviation with its efficient design and passenger comfort. The aircraft received its certification from Brazil, Europe, and the United States in February 2004, entering service shortly after with LOT Polish Airlines in March 2004.

A full range of maintenance platforms and access solutions are utilized for servicing the E-170. For the Nose Section, stands provide access for radome, antenna, nose avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead checks. Platforms support work on the Forward Fuselage, covering the Main Entry Door (MED), cargo/baggage areas, lighting systems, cabin access, Environmental Control System (ECS), and forward wheel well.
Access solutions are foundational for inspecting the Main Landing Gear (MLG) and Nose Landing Gear (NLG). Platforms are also utilized around the Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area for tasks involving the wing box, fuel tanks, oil maintenance, cabin interior, Wi-Fi systems, and emergency exits. Specialized access solutions are indispensable for the Wing & Engine Pylon section to service the engine inlet, exhaust, body, flaps, fan, compressor, turbine, FADEC/EEC, hydraulics, and fuel systems. Platforms also facilitate detailed work on the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage), including the APU compartments, vertical stabilizer, horizontal stabilizer, and rudder.
