DH 115 - MK.55

The DH 115 – MK.55 is a significant jet trainer, an export version of the de Havilland Vampire T.11. Manufacturing and operation of this aircraft were handled in Switzerland by Eidgen O Ssisches Flugzeugwerk (F+W, later RUAG), the Swiss government’s aircraft entity. Aircraft, like the retired RAF T.11s, were acquired and upgraded to the Mk 55 standard, remaining operational with the Swiss Air Force until 1991.

A broad range of platforms and access solutions support detailed servicing of this aircraft. These products ensure first-class access to all critical areas.

Servicing requirements cover the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Avionics), Forward Fuselage (Cabin Access, Environmental Control System), and Landing Gear (Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear). Access platforms also support the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area (Fuel Tanks, Oil Maintenance) and the Wing & Engine Pylon area for attention to the turbine, compressor, and hydraulics. The AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (including Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers) also require these maintenance stands for thorough inspection.
